SPECIFIC EXERCISE RELATED QUESTIONS
Of course not!
Age is never a reason to avoid doing something.
Exercise is important for all ages, and you’re never too old to start something new, including exercise. No matter your age, you can achieve great results through physical activity.
Whatever your age, pursue what you enjoy and have fun doing it!
Yes, to give yourself peace of mind and ensure you get the all-clear before starting to exercise, be sure to see your doctor or health professional.
Everyone has different capabilities, and what’s right for one person may be different for another.
If you are new to exercise or haven’t worked out in some time, start with shorter sessions and gradually increase the duration over time.

Exercising three days per week allows for a rest day in between to recover from your workouts.
This approach is a great way to help your body get used to exercise without pushing yourself beyond your limits.
No - wear what you like; any comfortable clothing will be just fine. Some people feel more motivated when they dress up in exercise gear, so do what works best for you!
For safety reasons, wearing shoes is recommended. This is primarily to reduce the chances of slipping and to prevent injury if weights are being used, such as dropping them on your toes. However, it's not strictly necessary!
Many people prefer to do exercises without shoes, and there are benefits to going barefoot! Just use good judgment, and you’ll be just fine.
I recommend that everyone try to walk barefoot for some time each day, if possible, to reap the benefits. (See the feet exercise video for more information.)
Although having armrests on your chair can make certain exercises more effective, they are not essential.
There are alternative ways to perform exercises that typically use armrests.
The most common exercise involving armrests is the triceps push. This can be done by pushing off the front of the chair, as demonstrated in the exercise provided here.
You are more than capable of achieving great results with exercise. Everyone is! (Yes, everyone.) This includes you!
Stop comparing yourself to others. What matters is that you are making improvements, no matter how big or small. From now on, the only person you should compare yourself to is… you! Results will come! Consistency is the most important factor when it comes to exercise. Stay positive and stay consistent! It gets easier - stick with it!
What I recommend for ankle weights is to purchase adjustable ones. If you Google "adjustable ankle weights," you'll find a range of options, allowing you to start lighter and work your way up without needing multiple sets. The weights can be added or removed as needed.
I suggest starting with a lighter weight to learn the exercises, and when you find them too easy, you can gradually increase the weight over time.
